Another lap record for Carbon Revolution. The Ferrari SF90 XX, wearing Carbon Revolution carbon fibre wheels, is officially the fastest road car to lap Ferrari’s Fiorano test track.
The SF90 XX set a time of 1:17.309, which beats the previous benchmark by 1.4 seconds, set by the SF90 Assetto Fiorano.

Carbon Revolution has supplied 20-inch, ten-spoke carbon fibre wheels for five Ferrari models since 2018, starting with the 488 Pista.
In that time, Ferrari has broken lap records on circuits in Europe and North America with vehicles equipped with lightweight Carbon Revolution wheels.
Up to 40% lighter than aluminium wheels
Ferrari claims weight savings of up to 40% compared to aluminium wheels in its range. Such significant reductions in unsprung, rotational mass dramatically enhance a vehicle’s performance.
Lighter wheels allow for better acceleration, reduced stopping distance, improved mechanical grip and better steering feel. The result: significant improvements on all parts of the track and faster lap times.
Driven by Raffaele de Simone, Ferrari Head of Development Test Driving, the SF90 XX’s lap time was independently measured and certified by a specialist third-party motor sports agency.
The 1030hp plug-in hybrid SF90 XX’s time is faster than other iconic Ferrari models including the LaFerrari by 2.0 seconds, the Enzo by 5.3 seconds and the F50 by 10 seconds.
