“No two days at Carbon Revolution are the same, which is great. I’m helping to develop the next generation of OEM wheels, working closely with our customers, and the other engineering teams at Carbon Rev to ensure we get a functional, good looking wheel which performs to the standards our customers set. Working at the cutting-edge of composites is incredible, and we always come up with creative solutions to engineering problems.
“The culture at Carbon Rev is like a big family. It’s still a young company, and everyone here is driven to see the business and technology succeed. My team is very close, and I feel like there are lots of opportunities for training and career development.”
“Carbon Revolution has a great factory environment which is supportive and underpinned by a culture of safety. I love the team and I love the diversity here. I’ve received a lot of support from management. You can brand out and you can move up if you put in the work.
“Previously I’ve been a real estate agent and a travel agent. This job was different for me and I like it the most.
“It’s exciting to be part of a growing manufacturing business in Australia, and I feel Carbon Revolution is a very supportive workplace with a friendly and welcoming culture.”
“I started at Carbon Revolution after I did my PhD in materials engineering at Deakin. My research helps us in exploring alternate cost-effective technologies that we could possibly bring into our already innovative wheel manufacturing process.
“I like getting to work with people from different fields, from production team members, engineers, designers, Deakin researchers, right through to composite tech specialists. It’s hands-on work, I get to feel the results and outcomes of my work.
“I like the support I get from colleagues in pursuing ideas. I’m empowered to think creatively. There are a lot of opportunities for promotion if you’re talented and have the right attitude.”
“I’ve worked at a number of jobs since I moved to Australia and this one at Carbon Revolution has been among the most flexible and supportive. It’s great to be empowered to work remotely as needed. I know a lot of my colleagues in the office appreciate being able to work from home, so they can manage work and family life.
“The office environment is very supportive, and I feel like I can have a chat with anyone. There are some great initiatives which all staff can access to support their health and wellbeing.”
STUDENTS AND GRADUATES
Carbon Revolution recognises the benefits of hiring the next generation of budding young staff. We have strong links with Deakin University’s Engineering faculty, but we have also employed interns and graduates from other universities in Victoria.
We have a great range of opportunities available for current and recently graduated engineering students in our product, industrialisation and production support teams.
