Carbon Revolution has appointed automotive manufacturing expert Martin Merry as plant manager at the company’s factory in Waurn Ponds
Mr Merry joins from Australian Performance Vehicles (APV), where he was general manager of its subsidiary APV Safety Products. Prior to that, Mr Merry was director of vehicle operations at General Motors Holden, a company he served for more than three decades until the closure of its car manufacturing plant in Elizabeth, South Australia, in October 2017.
Carbon Revolution CEO Jake Dingle said the company was delighted to have Martin join the Carbon Revolution team. “Martin’s experience spans everything from operations management and process engineering to business process improvement. There are few people in Australia who can match Martin’s track record with running complex manufacturing operations, and I am excited that Carbon Revolution is set to benefit from his skills.”
“This appointment bolsters our senior leadership team as the company continues its drive for growth,” he said.
